March 2003, we held our first meeting at the Forest Park branch of the Queens Library.

We're planning a service project at a local shelter of abused children. We're looking to have a back-to-school party or toy drive for the children there, but are awaiting the approval and opening of this new local shelter. Any member with new ideas for service projects are always welcome to share them!

We've been interviewed for several different newspapers since we're the only chapter in the entire Queens area: The Queens Ledger, Queens Chronicle and the Queens Parent!

We've had weekly playgroups at Juniper Park (Thursday mornings)

We've had a trip to lower Manhattan where we did a mini-cruise of lower Manhattan.

We visited the Queens Hall of Science.

We've celebrated several birthdays within the Club. We've had MOMS NIGHT OUT at a Mexican Restaurant and Greek Restaurant.

We had a psychologist speak to us on on ourselves and our children.

We have a lot more fun ideas planned for the coming year!
